Marking its increased presence in Vietnam, Keppel Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Saigon Sport City project in District 2 of Ho Chi Minh City.
Speaking at the event, Loh Chin Hua, CEO of Keppel Corporation, said: “The commencement of construction on Saigon Sport City today marks a new phase in Keppel’s engagement with Ho Chi Minh City, as we support the local government in promoting innovation and developing smart and sustainable urban areas.”
Keppel’s two business units, Keppel Land and Keppel Urban Solutions, are working with other best-in-class partners to develop this 64-hectare site into an iconic, vibrant and integrated, focusing on sustainability, community, connection, and innovation.
“We believe that Saigon Sport City will in the future become another iconic location in Ho Chi Minh City and the destination of choice for those who want to stay ahead of the curve,” he said.
When completed, Saigon Sports City will have approximately 4.300 luxury homes as well as serve as a hub for sports, entertainment and Vietnamese lifestyle. The first phase of Saigon Sports City will include residential and commercial spaces as well as sports facilities.
