Vinhomes Green Paradise Can Gio Located in Long Hoa commune, Can Gio district, more than 50 km from the center of Ho Chi Minh City, it is one of the largest sea encroachment projects in Vietnam, invested by Can Gio Urban Tourism Joint Stock Company (CTC Corp) (Vingroup owns 97,5%) with the goal of building Can Gio sea encroachment urban area into a coastal tourism urban area, resort tourism, seminars, conferences, smart urban area, high-tech services, housing, services, hotels…
Vinhomes Can Gio Located in the Southeast of Ho Chi Minh City with a coastline of more than 13 km, the mangrove ecosystem is recognized by UNESCO as a world biosphere reserve. Not only that, this place has a dense river system suitable for the development of resort urban areas.
Vinhomes Can Gio is 50km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, so it only takes 60 minutes to travel from the project to the city center and vice versa.
According to many press sources, building Can Gio into a regional urban area for recreation, entertainment, and tourism was an idea throughout the lifetime of the late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet.
Talking about the idea of establishing an urban area in Can Gio, nearly 20 years ago, the late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet sent a letter to: Nguyen Minh Triet (then Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee), Mr. Le Thanh Hai (then Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee) and leaders of the city Party Committee and the city’s standing committee.
Excerpt from the content of the letter of the late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet: “I want to clearly state my previous and current ideas: Determining the East direction is Can Gio, also the East Sea is “Urban resort area”. rest, entertainment, travel”. This is a whole associated with a unique ecological region (Rung Sac). This urban area is important not only for our country but at least for Southeast Asia. Malaysia’s Langcavi, Thailand’s Pattaya or Indonesia’s Bali can be compared with another form of the South.

Historical significance: The dream of the late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet
Developing Can Gio into a regional-level resort, entertainment, and tourism urban area was a consistent idea during the lifetime of the late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet. Nearly 20 years ago, the late Prime Minister identified the East – Can Gio – East Sea direction as a resort, entertainment, and tourism urban area of significant scale, not only for Vietnam but at least for Southeast Asia, comparable to Langkawi (Malaysia), Pattaya (Thailand), or Bali (Indonesia).
With Vinhomes Green Paradise officially commencing construction and implementing its project at a rapid pace, that dream is gradually becoming a reality.
